Texas returns home after a topsy turvy weekend trip to Lawrence. Dropped two sets early, then proceeded to win six in a row. Things to watch for the Longhorns include blocking, setting duties between Saige and Jhenna, and the balance between service pressure and service errors. TCU is likely going to have to serve very tough to push Texas off the net and play with very little pressure to take it to Texas.
Honestly, I don't know much about TCU this season but they usually have some really nice athletes.

if there are any hidden TCU fans on the forum that would like to help with their lineup before I go digging through their stats to come up with something please speak now (I really don't wanna have to do this)

The front line looks decent but it has for several years, the issue every time I watch is the passing can be pretty bad. I’m hoping at home Texas comes out with the Kansas match 2 mentality and remove all mental hope for TCU halfway through the 1st set.

And their rising stars transfer after 2 years. She gets good recruits....but something on that staff makes them leave.
We get to see Haley Eckerman!

Something is going in the program with all of the talent that has left in the last few years and several to top 20 programs. Tori Dilfer starting setter at Louisville, elan McCall at UCLA, Katie Clark at Penn State. Probably others that I can't recall off the top of my head.

I think Texas will take both of these matches smoothly, 3-0 and 3-0. If they drop a set in one match (unlikely) or both matches (very unlikely), they're still #1. I've got no allegiance to TCU, but do you think it might be better to put "NR/NR" for "not ranked" instead of "rip" for them?

Yes, I know from the posts you've written that you're not mean-spirited or generally looking to cause controversy. This is part of why I suggested it - for some posters (in many different fanbases), I wouldn't bother because they'd just double down/go on the attack. Approaching this from the point of view of a person who might be visiting VT for the first time, especially one who might be a family member of a player...I think it's better to just say a team is unranked. I appreciate you making the change, and I'm looking forward to watching Texas play well tomorrow and Friday.

I also took a stab at guessing TCU's lineup based off the stats, we shall see if I'm right or not (I don't think so). Idk how TCU has like six players putting up this many kills and not running a 6-2 and it seems like Nalls has been in and out of the lineup. They've got some nice balance.

It’s challenge day. Bring on the Texas serve game.

I would say they may be matches for Texas to get some people in, but they don't have a lot of people on the bench who are not part of their regular rotation. Maybe Parra playing a full rotation?

I would doubt it, but I would like to try setting Parra from the back row and if they can control the game get Skylar some back row PT and attempts. Now if they struggle, all that goes out the window.
