Pepperdine completely falling apart in set 3. 23-8 BYU. Ahrens down to a 0.158 hitting % after hitting over 0.400 in set 1. Gneiting, Koerber and Ballard Nixon have heated up since set 1, all hitting over 0.200 now.

Iād like to see lefty Bower take a swing occasionally. Of course, passing dictates that š Bower is averaging close to a kill per set, so she's definitely not afraid to swing at times.

Bower is averaging close to a kill per set, so she's definitely not afraid to swing at times. I mean actually swing, not dump! Eh, she takes swings also when the opportunity presents itself. I think she had eight kills in the second Pepperdine match in the spring. Obviously, her job is to run the offense, not necessarily try to get kills for herself, and the team is leading the country in hitting percentage.
