The Women of Troy escape Tempe with a 16-14 5th set win. Fight On! is dumbfounded, USC has WON a 5th set. It actually did take three separate occasions of USC being awarded the winning point to have it finally withheld on a challenge attempt. Wild. This is also a great example of why the challenge rule being changed is a GOOD thing. It didn't make a difference ultimately, but, ASU very well could have won this match because of that new rule. |

I believe the 5th set took an entire 35 minutes! That's longer than many 25-point sets.

Yeah, I have no clue what is happening with USC, other than they are just inconsistent enough to make some noise in the NCAA tournament if they manage to get there.
