You have got to start feeling for asu. How many 5 set losses is that now? 7 - Louisville, Georgia, UNLV, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and now USC. And all were at home except Georgia (neutral).
They do have 2 wins in 5 sets - Nebraska-Omaha and Utah Valley (both neutral). 2-7 = 0.222
Meanwhile, USC is now 1-3 (0.250) in 5 set matches, with losses against Denver (home), Creighton (neutral), and San Diego (home). If USC had lost, they would have had a worse winning percentage in 5 set matches than ASU.

What’s up with the USC program? I don’t understand how they’re not perennially a top 10/15 volleyball program? Is this a rebuilding year?

If all the schools that "should be top 10/15" were actually in the top 15, there would be about 50 schools in the top 15. And that's just not how math works. IMO the big problem with USC volleyball is that they fired Mick Haley for no apparent reason, and replaced him with a coach who kind of sucked. In retrospect, I have to wonder whether it had anything to do with Donna Heinel's cash-for-admissions schemes. But we'll probably never know for sure. |

What’s up with the USC program? I don’t understand how they’re not perennially a top 10/15 volleyball program? Is this a rebuilding year? Because a crook (and her look-the-other-way-while-I-go-golf-with-big-money-jock-sniffers-boss) fired a perfectly fine coach. |

IMO Keller is trying too he’s to utilize the wrong players, players that look like they are over volleyball and don’t want to be there anymore. It’s time he starts to put his fresh blood in! |

It’s time he starts to put his fresh blood in! they've got a nice recruiting class next season, plus Tuaniga will still be there. a few nice returners from this year's squad. they'll be really good. |
