So since I don’t really follow too closely, can someone tell me what happened to Ndiaye? She's been inconsistent, so McCall started for her during the Colorado and Utah matches.

UCLA has some really good depth then with Jacobs, Ndiaye and Ryan on the bench

Securing Luper is the best thing this coach has done in the last few years.

AZ is a terrible serving team. Anytime they get some momentum they miss a serve.

When Jacobs gets the chance to play, she would pass poorly

Okay, I think UCLA will need more balance on offense going forward, but having the elite and good left sides with Fleck doing the Roomba thing is a good starting point for them. Nice sweep on the road. I have them at the top of my hard to figure out Pac 12 ratings.

My eyes are telling me UCLA is the best PAC team. They should be ranked ahead of Oregon and Washington. However, UW always finds a way to get <more> better than other teams at the end of the season.

AZ can play well at home, but Hodge needs to step it up. She was disappointing last weekend. UCLA should be able to take care of this, but maybe AZ gets a set. Rubio feels she's struggled the last three weeks. Definitely needs to get it together. Last week, he started leaving Maldonado Diaz in and subbing out Hodge instead. Anyway, here's this week's preview for UCLA and USC. Rubio not happy about super seniors to put it lightly. www.azdesertswarm.com/volleyball/2021/10/15/22727256/arizona-volleyball-age-super-senior-ucla-usc-preview-tv-stream-statsAnother thing in there to keep an eye on is that Puk Stubbe hadn't practiced as of Wednesday. They think it might be strep, but they were not sure as of midday on Wednesday. This is a disingenuous article. Super seniors that transfer did not get a scholarship exemption. No school could "bring in people to go over the scholarship limit". The returning super seniors like Whipple, Botkin and May had to chance to return and not count against the scholarship limit but Whipple didn't want to. Nothing unfair about that.

Luper has to be in the running for NFOY
Or has she played not enough games?

It is kind of an uneven playing field. Some teams had players who wanted to stay. Others had players who did not want to stay. There are LOTS of reasons why people might want to move on from college.
Not the NCAA's fault, though. It's not like they decided, "Let's have a pandemic!"

Luper has to be in the running for NFOY Or has she played not enough games? She should qualify as a candidate. The only matches she didn't play were the first two matches of the season and the matches against the Washington schools.
