Syracuse took set 1, NC State took set 2.

NC State up 11-4 in the 3rd set..

Syracuse is looking like a bubble team right now. Their best win is at Mississippi State and at Duke. Their worst loss is Boston College. They have a decent RPI potential being on the ACC Train, but, they might end up a little short on wins. A loss here would certainly hurt their chances. They desperately need Mississippi State to stay T50.

What's even funnier is that Mississippi State doesn't have a loss to a team outside the Top 50 in RPI, and Florida is close to being their 'worst loss'.

Syracuse was close to tying it, but NC state goes on another run and leads 18-14 in the 3rd. T/O Orange

I wonder if Viktoriia Lokhmanchuk is injured, she is not playing for Syracuse. Though she had a rough match against Louisville and not sure she is a difference maker here.

The setting for Syracuse is way off. Shemanova has had a rough game and NCSU is benefitting from scrappy defense and finally have 3 options at all times with Rice on the RS and Rowand back

Syracuse playing at Louisville looked very good and had a couple of 2 point set losses. Close in the third set too. Syracuse can play.
