Colorado has the same defense as Stanford -- if not better. Stanford just knows how to convert to kills much more often with the balls they have.

Mahoney coaches his teams to tip any set they don't like. That ruins Colorado against certain teams when another team can covert. Start hitting hard -- get some tools and see what happens. The tips don't always work against all teams.

Colorado needs to stop tipping. A lot of those sets are hittable, but the hitters want the perfect ball. Other teams will hit those sets all day long. Stop tipping. Points would look much different than letting the other team run their offense off easy tips.
