Don’t feel as safe with that one. Too many dumb loses in that state. Iowa has two wins this year! Nope. Don’t want that voodoo bs

Nice win. 12-6, 7-3 doesn't seem that bad at this point - though it could be better; or worse. Tough team to figure out. "Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in."

It’s a great venue to watch volleyball. Do it! I do feel like it’s like bunting in the bottom of the 9th to break up a no-hitter You are within striking distance of a big ten campus, and you haven't seen the Buckeyes in over a decade?

WIN in a decade I’ve seen us lose… a lot 6 times @ Minn 2 times @ Wisc 1 against Neb (in Cbus) 1 against Illinois (NCAA tourney @ UF) 1 against Stanford (NCAA tourney @ UD)

This was a great win for MN, much needed. Hopefully it refueled that spark in them, the next month is going to be a grind. My takeaway from this weekend is that I think PSU is much better than their #14 ranking. Not sure on OSU yet.

Wow. Totally a pinky touch. Not a good week for challenges at the Pav, missed the clear touch against Penn State too.

MN should have never recruited a 6'3" setter without consistent and stellar passers - period! Gophers didn’t know status of passing when Shaff was in 8th grade In all seriousness, Minnesota's passing hasn't been stellar for years. Go back to the Lawmaster and Rosado days.

I’m here today and ngl, this is the emptiest the student section has been in forever. Pretty sad. Must all be hungover or studying for midterms… I thought you were trying to take care of that situation gophsstudent?

But at 4 pm I'd think they need a break. After watching MN blow set 2 vs. PSU and a 21-20 lead in set 3, the students may stayed away and studied.

If Samedy doesn't get NPOY then it's rigged. Or Rettke Rettke's hitting % is off the charts this season for a middle. However, Rettke doesn't play 6 rotations or back row or serve or hit from the back row and quite often in ONE MATCH. She also has had the SAME SETTER FOR 5 years setting her. She has had the same players around her for all those years. She hasn't had to ADJUST TO FOUR DIFFERENT SETTERS IN HER CAREER.

Exactly what I was thinking. Rettke is awesome. But she's not doing all the things Samedy is doing.

I did not know that Podraza’s mom was a former Gopher (Chris Schaefer Podraza) until the PA announcer introduced her before the match started.

Minnesota is an interesting team in that right at the moment you’re about to right them off as a legit top team they do this.

Gophers stepped up their game today. Felt like a heavyweight match. Defense on both sides was really strong. The biggest difference to me between Ohio State and Penn State is that Ohio State plays looser and more aggressive. Penn State plays a tighter, "safer" style.
Penn State had 10 attack errors and 4 service errors in 3 sets against the Gophers.
Ohio State had 22 attack errors and 10 service errors in 4 sets against the Gophers.
The top six teams in the B1G are tough, tough, tough.
