Rettke's hitting % is off the charts this season for a middle. However, Rettke doesn't play 6 rotations or back row or serve or hit from the back row and quite often in ONE MATCH. She also has had the SAME SETTER FOR 5 years setting her. She has had the same players around her for all those years. She hasn't had to ADJUST TO FOUR DIFFERENT SETTERS IN HER CAREER. Also....if Hugh wanted Samedy to be able to run an EFFECTIVE SLIDE she would find a way to do that too. |

Karch with the nicest way possible of calling Shaffmaster slow. has anyone addressed her “stanky leg” yet? Watching the replay and she won’t take risks at defending the ball at times and it seems to be related to the big knee brace. Samedy. Wow. USA team bound for sure. On another note, happy for Ohio State’s Moore. Has successfully worked her way back into the the lineup. Making a key difference. |
