UNLV needs to set Hayden until her arm falls off.

Go Rams! If I were one of their fans, I would be hoping for a sweep that would get me to Funkwerks sooner. I do have a Funkwerks coaster and shirt from my only visit to Fort Collins, when there was some much needed rain.

CSU sweeps UNLV!
CSU was up 19-13 in the third, but UNLV came all the way back, and CSU hung on 29-27

Even though the scores were close, it looked like CSU was in control the entire match. Lots of aggressive swings, especially late in the set. After a disappointing spring they've definitely bounced back well.
For UNLV, I still feel like they are underutilizing Hayden somehow, even though she gets the most swings lmao. I mean, she is by far the best player in conference, why would you go to the OPP on an OOS ball? She had 30 kills hitting close to 0.500 against Wyoming. Clearly she can get it done. Idk maybe I am expecting too much?

I was expecting UNLV to win the MW this year but Hilbert has really improved the Rams this year. Last year was messy due to COVID.

That's so random.

Funkwerks and Horse&Dragon are my favs... lots to choose from, but those are my go to! And, since we have pretty good beer being served in the Moby Loft, there's less of rush to get outta there fast

Thus, two stops. Horse & Dragon was considered, but beer geeks in Aurora told me to go to Jessup Farm Barrel House, which was very good too.

Idk maybe I am expecting too much? Ya know, at first I was like, "the woman is taking is taking almost 10 swings a set!", then I looked at the NCAA stats and saw that 117 hitters are taking more swings per set... I think you might be right, because she is impressive! IMHO, the difference today was errors, and it was not by a large degrees. - The Rams had 16 hitting errors, with 9 attributed to UNLV blocks, and UNLV had 20 hitting errors, with only 6 attributed to the CSU block. In that stat alone, UNLV gave up 7 more points than CSU and the point differential for the whole match was only 8 points.
- Serving, UNLV gave up three more points.
- And across the other ball handling errors, just two more.
Anyway, it was a close match and fun to watch. Hayden is indeed a beast.
