Did you know that Purdue is the "cradle of astronauts"? 25 astronauts have graduated from there. And had the first and last astronauts to set foot on the moon.
It also has the world's largest drum.

Brunch and volleyball. Sounds awesome.
Badgers "should" win. They often play terrible after a big win, but they've just had three big wins Ina row so.... shrug.

tough one for me. I have been on the Purdue bandwagon all year and they are my darkhorse pick to make Final 4. But Wisconsin is really playing well - well enough to overcome Purdue's homecourt?
This match should be just as good as last night's Wi - Neb match. Lots of offense and excellent defense...
I think it is a "flip a coin" match.
I lean toward Wi, but will not be surprised at all if Purdue pulls of a thriller

I really enjoy watching both of these teams. Hope this one’s another good one. I also enjoy the “Did you know?”s and match-up history that you include rainbowbadger! That Purdue 4-2 lead on neutral courts was interesting to me. Only neutral match I could find was 2013 when the Badgers made a run to the championship match. I guess Wisconsin will be looking to play catch-up if they meet in Columbus in December! I did some other snooping: -In those last 5 Wisconsin wins, all were sweeps except for a 3-2 win at the Field House in November 2018. -Otec and Newton played in Purdue’s last win in 2017, a sweep at Purdue. Hilley and Rettke started and looks like Loberg got some playing time. -Was hoping Barnes was undefeated against Purdue, but Minnesota lost 1-3 at Purdue November 2017. She’s undefeated as a Badger, though!

I road tripped to the 2017 match, and was sad.

That Purdue 4-2 lead on neutral courts was interesting to me. Only neutral match I could find was 2013 when the Badgers made a run to the championship match. The others are - Oct 1976, in Columbus OH, a Purdue win, 2-1 - Oct 1979, East Lansing, a Purdue two set win - Sept 1980 and again Sept 1981 in Normal, IL (Illinois State tournament?), a three set UW win and a two set Purdue win. - Sept 1984, Austin TX, a four set Purdue win.

Wisconsin is objectively a heavy favorite but Purdue pulling it off wouldn’t be like a massive upset bc Purdue is still a good team playing at home. Though I still think even very loyal Purdue fans would have a hard time saying this a a coin flip match

If this were the day after Nebraska match, I might think there could be a hangover for the badgers. But with the long time in between, I think the badgers will have the time to recover mentally. Cleveland or Newton will go off, as they do, and win one set. Badgers in 4.
