Why didn’t MSU challenge that last call of the game? Looked on the line. Were they out of challenges?

Iowa 25-21 in the 4th to take the match. Way to go Hawkeyes. They showed against Nebraska that they have the firepower to upset someone. Ironically they take down the team that upset Purdue last week and looked so good doing it.

For those who missed it, MSU was playing without two of their key players. Outside hitter Cecilee Max-Brown was key to the upset at Purdue, but is now out for an unknown time. She has been critical to both offense and defense for the Spartans. She is second in kills per set and points per set, and leads the team in digs per set. It was also apparent that the other players were affected last night by her absence and the altered lineup. And of course this is the eighth match the Spartans have been without MB Rebecka Poljan. They were both playing when MSU won 3-0 at Iowa.
