this is probably a make or break series for both teams in terms of getting in the tournament right? They aren't really on even footing now. Texas Tech is in a much better position. In particular, if they split, they are well on pace to a tournament bid. They could even still get in if they go 0-2 this weekend. The Baylor win is really huge for Tech. Kansas State is not in a great position. They are behind in RPI and also significant wins. They really need to win at least one here. They still have Texas and Kansas left, so, they do have their opportunities. |

This match will have important ramifications for both teams. It’s really a must win for Kansas State and at least a split for TX Tech.
The middle of the Big12 is a bit chaotic and every match is important.

Did anyone else hear the male commentator insult the women twice in a row? First, made a joke that she had terrible defense when she was a setter (could be funny if the context was different but came across weird) and then made a joke about her age.
