Not even close. Hopefully the Golden Eagles will be Golden. Obviously my hope as well but given history and given how they are playing right now, I an still pessimistic. Too bad I won't be able to watch it as I refuse to give Flo any money

Flo's not getting our money either. At least not this year.

Jaela didn't practice today and Annika is in a boot who wants to play the game "Who is going to play opposite" :/ either freshman Eve Magill... or they slot walk on Abbey Milner to MB and put Schmitt at opp. If both Jaela and Annika cannot play by Friday, we might also see Emily Bressman get time at OH with Keeley back at RS. Last weekend, Emily got some cleanup time at OH. I don't think that they will burn Eve Magill's red shirt. What was the lineup @ Providence, when Zimmerman and Welty were also both out? Dang, I was hoping Welty was back to full strength. Her play, when good, is a real x-factor for this team. The injuries at this time aren’t going to help, but Creighton needs to find a way to win this match or the are going to be out of any chance to host in the first two rounds. The are still at 14 in the RPI but have fallen to 22/25 in Kern/Pablo. Booth has pulled a lot of rabbits out of her hat during the past 7 years in Big East matches but she really needs another one now. . . or they will find themselves sent to Lincoln for the first two rounds of the tournament. . . and I doubt that’s what they want. 🏐 Yes, they have to win this to host. No, they won't be sent to Lincoln, regardless of if they win or lose. The committee doesn't do that to Creighton OR Nebraska. That pair has never been treated like BYU and Utah. Creighton would go to Minnesota.

Marquette/Creighton matches generally get on Youtube within a day or so afterwards like other conferences ?

Creighton almost pulled it off the last time they were there. Saw the team in a completely different light after that!

Confirmation from Creighton that Zimmerman has been out with an "undisclosed injury," but I've never seen KBB be so tight-lipped about the nature of an injury. No word about her availability for this weekend.

No word about her availability for this weekend. Did she ever disclose the nature of Kiara Reinhardt's injury? I heard from a former player that she has a back injury, but the former player heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who......

I think Marquette is good, but I am with fellow Bulldog alum KBB in this one. The Jays have just been so dominant in the series when both have been good.

Oh, and I hope Purdue rips off wins after Sunday and that Marquette either ends up hosting or gets sent there. No need for a rematch with the Badgers.
