Marquette seems to be Creighton's biggest VB rival in the Big East and yet the series is really not that close. Since joining the Big East in 2013, Creighton is 19-4 vs. Marquette; 15-3 in regular season matches and 4-1 in conference tournament matches. Seton Hall and Villanova have both also won 3 regular season matches against Creighton since 2013. To date, Creighton has only lost a total of 13 regular season Big East VB matches since joining the Big East Conference.

Confirmation from Creighton that Zimmerman has been out with an "undisclosed injury," but I've never seen KBB be so tight-lipped about the nature of an injury. No word about her availability for this weekend. Did she ever disclose the nature of Kiara Reinhardt's injury? I heard from a former player that she has a back injury, but the former player heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who...... KBB didn't disclose it, no. But the "back injury" nature of the injury was confirmed by a journalist close to the program, so it's more than just a rumor. |
