You can sort by various metrics. Click on the top tabs to see overall or conference-only stats. Now that we're almost halfway through the conference season, conference-only stats are a good way to compare players who have played very similar schedules. For example, I looked for the kills/set leaders on both teams (through #50 in the PAC). Here are the leaders in kills/set, looking only at PAC-12 matches: kills/set hitting % aces/set blocks/set digs/set assists/set points/set

It's Bergmark vs. Isanovic/Jeter/Levinska/Cyr. Bergmark cannot carry CAL to a win. They showed a great match against WA, but then not good against WSU. ASU has a lot of confidence with their recent wins. They could blip a set away, but this should be a fairly routine ASU win.

ASU is clearly dangerous, just with a tough record in 5 set matches. I think they take this one.

ASU took care of business 3-0. Interestingly ASU was lead by Cyr with 14 kills, while Isanovic only had 10. CAL continues to struggle to get kills, and no hitters had more than 10 kills. Mirkovic didn't even play, and Grote only played two sets. This CAL team can't catch a break. On the other hand, ASU continues to win streak to 4 in a row, and they have a great chance at Stanford Sunday with Stanford missing starters tonight vs. AZ.

Wow, just looked at the box score and also noticed no Mirkovic, just when I thought they might have finally figured out their line up with players returning from injury, another bump in the road. Tough season, hopefully nothing too serious and everyone returns soon and they don't go winless in conference.
