Well, one of the Outside Hitters next year will be Leoniak. The battle will be for the other Outside Position between Wagoner and Alexander. For the Opposite Position it will be either de Goede, or Demirtas. For the other OH, I think Johnson also has a shot at making the lineup. And Akana will only get better so her too may have a shot at the OPP position again. You are right about Mia Johnson, forgot about her. She just needs to improve her back row play. A little Beach play will help that tremendously. The only thing going against Akana, is her height. The other 2 Opposite contenders are 6'3 and 6'5.

The only reason i agree somewhat about Sky is because she’s the M2 and we have no pins who can still put up 15+ Kills @ .200 hitting when the Wahine have a game with regular passing lulls. Skyler getting kills and hitting at a high percentage usually has a direct influence in opening up the Rightside’s ability to get kills. This team is good when they’re balanced, so-so when it’s leftside heavy. Hopefully someone steps up and is bigger outlet on the pin next season. Well, one of the Outside Hitters next year will be Leoniak. The battle will be for the other Outside Position between Wagoner and Alexander. For the Opposite Position it will be either de Goede, or Demirtas. it looks like Alexander was trying to do 6 rotations with passing her final year of HS. Numbers weren’t particularly great. She might be better than Wags at attacking, but I think that all of Wags’ experience will give her an advantage over Alexander.

UC Irvine needs to put points on the scoreboard when Ma'a is not on the court. If UC Irvine can widen the margin when Ma'a is not on the floor, they have a chance of beating UCSB.

I like the just a bit against the grain from Lang to Williams, even if it didn't lead to a kill. Just more to think about.

Sometimes, it is better to just set your best player! Wisconsin is not going to go away from Rettke too much with good ball control, and Hawai'i should set Igiede.
