The good part of the Gophers faces, beyond the beautiful smiles, is that you can see their faces with their numbers.
As far as Nebraska jumping on the Gophers early - well, the Gophers have learned from that. They are going to battle all the way.

Lexi Sun plays every set Nebraska wins. IDK, cuz if we didn't win we'd no doubt blame her ... jj Who is Cook to going bench next? I love how he is destroying the morale of this team.

What we'll get: Lots of good setter D and respective fan bases criticizing their setter's setting

I’ve got Nebraska 3-0 or maybeeee 3-1.
Don’t see how Minnesota can pull it out, we’ve seen them get absolutely exposed by any team they play with good middles. Add to that a hungry, pissed off Nebraska team who just got swept at home and you have a recipe for disaster.
I hope I eat my words, but I just can’t see Minnesota doing it, especially without Landfair (although Miyabe has been great… would not mind seeing Miyabe and Landfair when she’s healthy)

I'm sure it's been posted somewhere but how serious is Landfair's injury? Or is she injured?

You hope there is no lingering affects of the reality check from being sweep on your home court by a conference nemesis, particularly after a long winning streak. You don't want Wisconsin to beat you twice. With the maturity of this team, I don't think that will be the case. They bounced back reasonably well after getting hammered by Louisville.
The bigger question may be which Gopher team shows up? The team that lost to Baylor and Florida or beat Stanford and Oregon in non-conference. The team that got handled by Penn State in a sweep, or the team that beat Ohio State convincingly, all within a 48 hour period.
Nebraska doesn't have a Samedy, but the disparity at middle is too large (coupled with Schaffmaster's continued struggles to set the position). Huskers in four, unless the Minnesota vs Ohio State version shows up.

Baylor, except in Waco they spell it P-r-e-s-s-l-e-y. But other than that, you're right, the examples are few and far between.
