Y’all. I just got done with 12 hours of covering state volleyball. I saw none of this. I got back in my car just in time for John Baylor going apesh!t over Lauren Stivrins serving. I need Benadryl.

We match up well against Illinois and Penn State. Not so much against Wisconsin and Minnesota. We're pretty even with the Ohio State team with the last two matches (last spring) being split, both in 5 sets.

Knuckles hitting out the back row is not as successful as they hope for. May work in the practice gym. Stivrins has the prettiest slide in the whole league. I have no idea why people think this. It’s been very effective many times this season. I wish Nicklin didn’t set it in system when I’m more optimistic that our front row attackers could terminate more efficiently, but that’s more on Nicklin than Kenzie. It’s been a good option in OOS and has been that option on some really big and important long rallies.

Its fun for fans and announcers: its a poor plan for success!

We match up well against Illinois and Penn State. Not so much against Minnesota. Meh. I think we matchup just fine against Minnesota. We just had a bad night and struggled serving.

I'm glad Ne won; and even though it was a sweep; Illinois played Ne tough!

Woohoo. Sun was awesome tonight. Hit well but also did a lot of little things on the court. NE's strength is their floor defense. Sun played to that well, if she could not get a kill, she kept the ball in play in a challenging manner. NE won a lot of long rallies as a result. GREAT GAME HUSKERS!
