I told you UCSB is a team that is ripe to lose any match. Someone thought they would never lose a match again this season because they smoked UH but I pointed out that they have suffered 9 losses(now 10) and is not some invincible team. They are young and young teams don’t always play at high level .
UH still really does not gain much from this UCSB loss because if both UH and UCSB win their remaining matches before meeting up, UH still has to win that final match to win the conference. UCSB win against UH in Santa Barbara gave them a cushion to lose another match and still be in control of their own destiny. If UCSB wins out they win the conference. If UH wins out they win the conference.

If UH wins out they win the conference. The pressure now is on UCSB, they cannot lose another match. If they do, that match with the Wahine will be meaningless. At the moment, both teams hold their own destiny in their hands.
