he actually isn't getting that high because the angle of the picture makes him look like he's jumping higher than he actually is. Look at the libero, he looks like he's 7 foot tall!! His head comes up to the top of the net. while it is impressive how high he jumps, this picture is not an accurate representation of his leaping abilities. And I know for a fact that Kevin Miller gets higher than that.

Trust me he does!! After seeing this photo, I sat in the arena on night number two with my eye level on the same level as the top of the net. Trust me his waist hits the top of the net. I agree that the angle may have it look deceiving, but his waist DOES hit the top of the net. I was in awe when I saw this in person. Delano will be unstoppable this year and only get better. Sorry to every team that needs to face him across the net. He can absolutely take over a match. Point in case, game four in last nights game with Lewis. WOW!!!

Not only are his blocking numbers outstanding (13 blocks last night with 4 of them in the last game solos) his hitting is lethal and his serving is scary. I think the only hindrance to Thomas this year will be himself. If he can stay off the academic suspension list, his numbers should be POY numbers.

His blocking and attacking numbers are great but I like to see his academic grades go up as well. I think he is just barely passing. Is he the Lindsey Phillips of Men's vball?
