She actually hasn't played for several weeks though. Luper was up until last weekend. She doesn't seem to be traveling to away matches. Right but I've been wondering what's been going on with Ndiaye. I may have missed it but I didn't see any reason that she's been out. It's possible she just lost her spot in the line up due to low numbers. It's been May, Luper or Jacobs, and McCall in OPP. |

McCall is so valuable on court coverage. Any other player in her spot would not have read that or gotten to it in time.

At this point it’s clearly their plan to have Jacobs cover the away matches. No question Luper will get the start in the post season. |

Luper not in the line up it looks like. It's starting to feel like Luper simply won't travel... maybe a John Madden fear of flying type deal? If so UCLA needs to supply a "Madden bus" for her to get to matches. She played against Stanford at Stanford, then against the AZs in AZ. She was playing through the end of Oct. But she has missed several weekends when the team is away. |

OSU couldn't captalize on UCLA's slow start, but kept the first set very close. UCLA got it 25-23. UCLA lead by May with 8 kills. OSU hitting .344, with 11 kills and 0 errors. Not sure they could have played much better. Might be a little mentally defeating for OSU.

She was at the preconference matches in Indianapolis. I would guess that it has nothing to do with some kind of restriction against flying. But it sure does seem to be correlated to missing the out of town road trips. |
