How did Kuehl not close on that OOS transition hit? That has to be the slowest set to get a 1-on-1 in the conference this year. Kuehl is awful. I'm sorry.

Neverdowski in back row instead of Riddle. She is struggling on serve receive too though.

what a collapse by Colorado. ASU's renaissance continues.

ASU had a strong end to that set, and wins it 3-1.

ASU takes set four and the match 27-25
Co had been up 23-18 and it looked like it would go to a fifth set

I believe it's the first time this season Colorado hit better hitting percentage, but lost. I honestly think it came down to ASU's 9 aces. Colorado's many blocks made up for ASU's more kills. ASU's aces came at crucial points and Riddle shanked too many (she wasn't the only one, but definitely the main one).

She didn't play her first season. Played only half of the abbreviated COVID season when not injured. She may not have blocked that great today, but she can hold her own most of the time. It IS annoying that she is slow and doesn't read hits well sometimes, and then CU often has 1 blocker.

ASU's aces came at crucial points and Riddle shanked too many (she wasn't the only one, but definitely the main one). Colorado isn't as bad on serve-receive as it has been in the past, but the biggest issue is lack of termination on OH. CU lost the 3rd best hitter in the PAC right when the PAC began and the Buffs swept Utah. If ASU was without Isanovic, one could easily say it would likely be a Colorado win. Tabron is getting slightly better as the season goes on, but a lot of her hits are predictable for defense and she doesn't have a good mix of shots. Campbell has been playing on a bum ankle since she was called up and is also young. Then you have Neverdowski just coming back cold after being gone for several weeks. I think Mahoney is just trying to push through this season with Clayton out, Parker out, and injuries that too many players are playing with. Ewert also has an awful knee injury she is playing on. Teams obviously do play with injuries, but that on top of major key players out....I think Colorado has done pretty well so far.

Also, DeLuzio had a career high 31 digs in 4 sets and a rare double-double on assists and digs.

I’ve noticed in the ASU rosters posted for the recent game threads that #14 Claudia Stahlke is missing.
