WSU pulls it out 15-12 in the fifth, takes the match 3-2. A battle.

We get a bad pass but Ryan finishes OOS 15-12 WSU. Ryan had a fabulous night would be curious to see her numbers.
Horrendous start for Oregon and a missed opportunity to get WSU w/o Timmer and come out like that.
Cougar serving just did too much damage. I also think some really bad setting early put extra pressure on our passers and compounded everything.

FOW numbers esp without Timmer, depending on how she does against OSU

Yay happy for wsu. Love this group. Really like Ryans potential. Hope timmer comes back and show how good this team can be. Oregon really missing Borup too

Entertaining, evenly matched. Thought the Ducks would pull it out but Cougars were solid at crucial moments.

Nuneviller with 21 kills hitting .333, Lewis 14 kills hitting >.400, Murphy 24 digs - but it wasn't enough. Oof.
Brooke is at 5 KPS hitting almost .290 for the month of November.

Great for Ducks to fight and get to 5, but they just quite couldn't overcome the great serving by WSU. Bummer to lose that one, but great for WSU to show that they can still beat good teams even without Timmer.

Shocked this went to 5 I tuned out after the second thought WSU was going to sweep sounds like I missed a good one lesson learned. Washington State is so interesting to me they don't get a lot of attention as one of the top teams in the PAC but they will be dangerous in the tournament as an unseeded likely second round opponent for someone.
