Add UF's MB Lauren Dooley to the list. Wants to be in for grad year, for whatever reason it is being delayed. But for sure she wants her name out there. Great talent, even greater person/teammate to add to a program. Won't surprise me to see her end up at Baylor. She would love that!

How did transfers work out for programs this year? I think Skinner to Baylor was this year’s biggest transfer success story. Other than her making a nice impact, the chemistry she has with the team seems strong!

In Pac-12 thread someone said she refused the Covid vaccine Still qualifies as a mental health issue if you ask me Don't know the situation or player, but I have a nephew that had a bad reaction to a vaccine when 4 years old. Resulted in severe and permanent brain damage. That was 40 years ago, he operates at grade school level today. Personally it has not effected my opinion on vaccines, but I understand those that refuse them. Give it a break, or at least consider others might reason differently than you before denigrating.

It was just announced in the local paper that Wisconsin MB/RS Julia Wohlert will be grad transferring to use up her remaining eligibility. She’s a RS JR and has a COVID/bonus season, so by my math the’ll have two years of eligibility to use somewhere while she gets her masters.

Other than her making a nice impact, the chemistry she has with the team seems strong! As hard as I've been on her, UCLA without Martin this year wouldn't be a Top 25 team. Even with all that other talent. The other options at setter would've killed this team's chances. Jankiewicz made a huge difference at Utah. Koerber has been stout for BYU. I think Basham at WSU has helped the back row quite a bit, especially considering what they've lost and where they've been.

There are tens of thousands of people who have had a "bad reaction" to NOT taking the Covid vaccine. That "bad reaction" is called death.

Leketor Member-Meneh and Serena Gray have been pretty big for Pitt this year and they’ve both gotten better while there!

Can an athlete sign an NLI and enter the portal before she's even graduated high school?
This doesn't seem like it's right, but I saw something on social media to suggest that it's happening. I take everything I see on SM with a grain of salt so I thought I ask VTers who would know the rules.

I take everything I see on SM with a grain of salt so I thought I ask VTers who would know the rules. The school is allowed to release an athlete from their NLI obligations. But generally no, they can't play for any other school in what would be their freshman year. Here's the exact language from the NLI website: "I understand that if I do not attend the institution named in this document for one full academic year and I enroll in another institution participating in the NLI program, I may not compete in intercollegiate athletics until I have completed one full academic year in residence at the latter institution. Further, I understand I shall be charged with the loss of one season of intercollegiate athletics competition in all sports. This is in addition to any seasons of competition used at any institution." www.nationalletter.org/nliProvisions/index.html
