Ngl, as a Louisville fan this one has me a touch nervous.
Duke showed they know how to attack UofL's play in the match down in Durham. Low and quick sets to make it difficult for Lou to engage the block, hope that the DSes and Scott at Libero mishandle the digs, then set up your block against DeBeer and Chaussee 'cause you know that's where Dilfer is going with an out of system ball.
To be fair...this is pretty much how to attack just about any college team...actually executing on it is a bit harder.
Duke showed that they can execute on it...at least some.

OK, the reasons for my nervousness clearly didn't come to pass. I'm obviously happy to have been wrong, but after Duke kinda highlighted Louisville's weaknesses (such as they are) down in Durham, I'm not quite willing to acknowledge that the nervousness was irrational.

Completely irrational, Duke isn’t very good at all, Louisville is not only great but they’re taking care of business better than any team I can remember in a long time. |
