So how much did USC have to pay Brown for this match? USC making desperate moves. 🤦🏻♂️ USC probably paid round trip air fare from the east coast, plus hotel and food. They paid for the entire trip. I doubt that. I’m sure they gave a guarantee, but not all of it. |

The Brown head coach is marrying the assistant coach from usc That's pretty amusing, actually. Best of luck to them. I see they credited spending a lot of time hanging out in a Seattle coffeehouse during the Final Four as part of their romance. |

I actually went to Brown and played on the men's volleyball club team a couple lifetimes ago. I don't recall ever seeing a match thread for Brown on VT and I think it's pretty cool this match is happening. Go Bears!

Are they using the optional rule (2 challenges but you keep them if you win) or the default rule (3 challenges, lost upon use)?

Some of those schools in the Ivy League have a little money and do have some pretty nice facilities. It is just some of their buildings are originally from the 1700s =)

You’re allowed to have non conference matches during conference? I’m confused This happens every year. Particularly in conferences where teams have bye weeks or only 1 match a week. There aren't a ton, but, there are some. Most are local matches that are convenient to have without too much travel stress. |
