Wisconsin fans, what percentage of the student body makes up average game attendance and how will that attendance be affected by Thanksgiving Break?

I hope Lexi Sun is allowed to play a lot. This could be it, Sun's last B1G moment to shine. I mean, she will have the following night as well..

Stivrins vs Rettke …that’s all. unfortunately, it becomes a lot more of Hames vs. Hilley in this match-up, IMO. Meaning I think it has a bigger impact on the outcome.

Wisconsin fans, what percentage of the student body makes up average game attendance and how will that attendance be affected by Thanksgiving Break? There is only one section, at the south end of the court, that is specifically designated as 'student seating' (plus an area for the pep band; 30,40,50 members). I don't really know how many rows up that designation goes, but it probably isn't more than a few hundred seats; I'd be surprised if it is as many as 500. It is also possible for students to sit elsewhere in the 'general admission' sections. But not all students go home for Thanksgiving, and some could certainly come back for a Friday match. Football the Saturday after Thanksgiving happens, and the student sections there fill up as well (or poorly, depending on one's point of view ) as for other games. So I wouldn't expect "Thanksgiving" to be a factor.

Football is out of town, hockey is later that night, so probably won't be as many as if football was around and hockey away. For a match earlier this year, the students really filled it up. Helped that they had free admission though. They filled the lower portion and also a good check of the upper on that end (right endzone area)

I thought NE fans really, really like their all-conference, all-american setter? At least that's what I got when I said her placement was...questionable, at best.

Spelling this out, mostly for myself. Assuming Purdue beats Indiana on Friday....
If Wisconsin beats Nebraska, they'll be in sole possession of 1st place. They just have to beat Indiana Saturday to keep it.
If Nebraska beats Wisconsin, the Huskers will have to turn around and beat Purdue on Saturday to get sole possession of 1st place.
If Nebraska beats Wisconsin Friday but then loses to Purdue, we'll have a 3-way tie for 1st place.
Yikes, Big Ten. Yikes!

If “we” is Nebraska who joined the B1G in 2011, it is time for some memory meds. 🤯 Purdue was 29-5 (16-4 B1G) in 2011 and lost 1-3 at Nebraska but won 3-0 (-19, -19, -16) over #2 at the time Big Red in Holloway 😳 Purdue was at the”bottom of the barrel” in 1999 but they hired a guy named Dave Shondell to fix that 😃 thanks for your support though 👍

Loberg stays off the court - 3PEAT OH: Demps and Orzol Twin Towers in the middle Robinson on Right Hilley with the hands the littles serving in and tough. ***KEYS TO SMASHING AND WINNING A NATTY. - Keep setting Demps out of the back row, that's a great 3rd/4th weapon in system. As her confidence continues to grow, she's starting to look like a young Samedy out of the BR. - Orzol is too dynamic to keep setting the same f'king set to the outside! She's athletic enough to run in a swing offense, have her hit from everywhere. Quick tempo balls behind the bigs. X plays like Duello use to. - Stop making Sydney run 12-billion steps a match on serve receive! You pass in system, WI is hard to beat. - Keep Loberg as a last resort, back up back-up - Nothing personal. - Big A (Smrek) needs to be in for NE match, she ate them up in Lincoln a few weeks back. She needs to be on the court and building confidence if we're to make a FF run. - Robinson at RS, but her have run dynamic tempo plays, back 1's and X plays etc. -- She's truly a world class athlete, a true middle, so let her shine along the tape. - Sheffield, better game management, not allowing 9 point leads to slip away, time out after 3 point, not 5 or 6... send in a sub, kick a water bottle onto the court, anything, delay, but don't sit on your hands watching your team implode and give sets (and matches) away. - I think Smrek, Rettke and Robinson are capable of running a 3-Middle Offense - which Robinson truly capable of all 3 spots up front. Kelly DM me if you want more Natty Championship type of advise :-) cc: Wisconsin VB Staff Attachments:

That was only two years before Carlini and Sheffield arrived, and quite a few years after Shondell arrived in W. Lafayette.

I just want the girls to win every time they play
Go Huskers; Go Big Red!!! Old Man, The last match against those tall Badger girls didn't go well. And, that was a home match. Now, BIG RED has to travel to Madison and confront Wisky's army of fans. What can we do to stop this Wisconsin freight train? I wonder if the army will be there? They'll be on Thanksgiving break. Maybe they'll go over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house?
