Tennessee has had basically a season long slow, steady decline. Maybe not always in terms of actual level of play - which has been up and down. But in terms of ratings and rankings.

Wonder how the “angriest looking coach in SEC” handled that one….

Pretty sure part of Runnels transferring to Tennessee was so she did not have to take 71 swings. Tennessee is more balanced than setting one player that many times.

Dear Tennessee middle, You're losing in the 5th set to a team that is 4-24. Yelling at the opposing hitter through the net after you block them is rarely cool, but in this situation it is particularly idiotic. She does that basically every play… in every set… of every match… not a cute look. There have been a few times the up ref has had to say something in previous matches, I’ve noticed. You’d think the coaches would say something to her. So happy mizzou won!

Part of the Tennessee HC playbook. Hasn't yet read the chapter The Clipboard Throw. I miss mercurial HC's like Rob, Woody Hayes, and Bobby Knight. Those were the days.

I still think Ohio State is likely. But it is possible for TN to go to Louisville, Illinois to Kentucky, and Western Kentucky to Ohio State or Purdue. I guess it is still possible that Michigan goes to Pittsburgh instead of Penn State, but I don't think they can do this w/o adding a fly-in. I think West Virginia is the most likely #3 in Ohio State's sub - if West Virginia makes it. Tennesse is within driving distance of Georgia Tech (Atlanta), as well. But, just so many other options (for the GT sub-regional) like fellow SEC Miss. State and South Carolina with less drive-in options than Tennessee. I agree that Tennessee to Ohio State seems most logical. Since Illinois lost to Michigan, are they still safe on the 2-line, or are they out of the Top 32 RPI ? Yes - there are so many other SEC teams for GT that Tennessee couldn't go there w/o adding fly-ins somewhere. I have Illinois at #32 in Futures. They lose another and they probably fall into the mid 30's. Assuming they win - they would fit nicely as the #2 with Louisville. They may end up that way regardless.
