Wasn’t pretty but Buckeyes get the job done, overall excellent season and those young ladies have solidified themselves as a force in the B1G…..now I hope to make the trip to Columbus to watch them play in the Final Four

Weird call and then reversal on what seemed straightforward to me on match point. OSU 25-19 and a sweep. Finish the regular season 25-5 and 15-5 in B1G. Should be hosting the first 2 rounds next weekend and I hope get the Pittsburgh or Louisville regional so I can easily drive to the next weekend.

The Buckeyes will not be an easy out in the tournament.

I don't think it was a reversal. I think the up ref had difficulty understanding the meaning of the call. The hit by the Buckeyes was blocked (touched by Maryland) and traveled parallel to the net hitting near the down ref. Since the ball travelled out the line judges made the proper call that it was a touch. If they would have signaled out then the touch would not be recognized and it would be point Maryland. If they signaled in again it would be point Maryland. So they made the correct call and the up ref consulted with the down ref for an interpretation of the call.
At least, that is my take.
Nice balanced offense by the Buckeyes. Gabby Gonzales was a kill machine. Londot hits her kills so deep that the defense has to play back on her leaving the tip shot very open. She loves that line, at least tonight she did. Impressed with freshman middle Aric Davis. Small for a middle (5'11") but when she got her set she was putting them down.

Yeah I agree with your take on this. When I said reversal I meant because they originally ruled Maryland point until the conference. From the view of the broadcast it seemed obvious that the attack went of the Maryland block and then out based on the assistant that we could see on the broadcast (Maryland's side) raising the flag up for out, but the initial signal from the chair was down on OSU's side, so I didn't see how the arrived at that call to start
