A win is a win...survive and advance. For all that want to give the credit to Colorado...we can agree to disagree. I think getting out of Colorado with a W is a great thing. My point is that UW will needs to be better to beat a Wa St. team that has had their number recently and is hungry to ruin their season in a rivalry match. The #12 team in the country played too close to a team that is playing just above .500 on the season. I am happy for the win but nervous about Saturday....I think being at home is a big deal....hope the Dawg Pack shows up and is ready to rumble. If Clayton didn't leave after the 3-0 Sweep of Utah, Colorado would likely be a Top 5 team in the PAC. She was an elite 6 rotation player and the 3rd best hitter in the PAC. So, that basically means CU had to replace her with 2 players that were both not as good as her -- especially with one of them playing hurt all season. Colorado didn't have anything to lose and finally played out of system with some aggression, and it paid off enough to keep Wash honest. I think Wash will come out with the win against WSU.

Agree....my comments were based upon todays match only. Clayton was very good and frankly caused us major issues each time she played us. I too think UW will come out with a win, but need to be better than today.

Cook in the recap published on the gohuskies website:
"There's always moments that you can point to in a season that really define your team, so maybe that third set had that feel," said Head Coach Keegan Cook. "We had some really gritty performances down the stretch by some players demonstrating leadership in critical moments. Ella May and Claire were notable for their impressive resilience."
I would add that Emoni Bush played big when it mattered: three kills at the end of the third set when true grit was needed.
