Thanks. I'm skeptical about that too. The WSU match (Baylor sub) has a stats broadcast link so I had hoped they all would eventually but I'll take a sidearm link. I have a lot more confidence that it will have the stats (eventually ) they will. www.statbroadcast.com/events/statmonitr.php?gid=minnIt's not live right now though. I know. I was joking bc they sometimes don't start when the match does or don't update for a while. It's like they decide to take a long coffee break or something. But I still trust them more than NCAA. How do you find the link for other games? I'm sure I'll have more match threads with only a NCAA stats link.

Any word about Lougeay? She will likely be rusty if she is ready to play again... and I like Kipp playing all 6 and getting set on the bic, but having Lougeay back would give an option to strengthen receive a bit.

I'm rooting for Herrera to do well, but I want Stanford to win

Ngl I think isu has a pretty good chance here. When they are fully healthy they have some pretty nice pieces. Popović and Herrera are both elite and then Eleanor is a great player

I’ve got 2 All-Session tickets for sale for the Minneapolis sub regional: Section 110, Row 13, Seats 9 & 10. These are bench seats, on the “up ref” side of the court. If I could figure out how to upload a screenshot of the venue seating, I would be able to show you where they were!
Anyway, they are $20 each (which is a savings of $5 per ticket, plus handling fees). They are digital tickets, so I would need a cell phone number to send them to. Venmo or Zelle payment accepted,
**OK, I just looked on StubHub and tickets in this section (and 3 rows further back) are listed for $70 each, so clearly I am not a financial genius! But I would rather the seats be filled and not try to gouge someone in the process! (And I hope whoever listed those tickets for $70 each can’t sell them!😊)

Anyone else feel like all of our hopes for a deep run in the tournament rest in whether or not Francis can keep her elbow high? lol
I hate to put too much pressure on a freshman but it pretty much comes down to that "X factor". We pretty much know how it will go in other areas. We don't know if Francis can avoid swinging into the block.

Definitely think Francis needs to hit at least .200 for Stanford to make a run in the tournament. That and Stanford needs to dig a damn ball haha.

Francis has been blocked a lot, hit many balls out, given the opposing team easy tips, and spikes that do get by the block often have mediocre velocity. The good news is that Iowa St will use their best blockers against Kipp and Baird, so Francis can be an X factor for the Card. I don't see a lot of height in ISU's lineup, so maybe Francis can have some success beating the ISU block.

Stanford is the more athletic team and should win but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Iowa St take a set or 2. Setting Herrera is they key for any Iowa St win. If she can score that gives the pins more of a chance. Think they will struggle with Kipp, but if the OH can hold their own in scoring with Stanford it could get interesting. Newsome is an offensive setter, it will be interesting to see her and Minor battle.

I got a ticket but I couldn't figure out which side was the bench side and which is the opposite. It has been too many years since I have been in Minny. I think I am opposite the benches, close to the locker room.
I really hope my Cyclones do well. They are rested, which could be a good or bad thing, since they had a bye week last week. I really do think that this will be a battle with Cyclones have nothing to lose.

I really do think that this will be a battle with Cyclones have nothing to lose. Player bench side is where the chairbacks are (“L-2” through “L-6” on the ticketing site). Same side, further up, are bleacher sections 101-106, and the upper deck (201-206). Opposite side has sections 107-112, which are about twice as deep as the other sections (e.g. section 2 and 102 have, combined, about the same number of rows that section 108 has). If they keep the same sides as they had during the season, the “home” team will be on the higher-numbered sections (most of 4, 5-6, 104-106, 110-112). On the other hand, if they switch the sides teams play on, the same way they flipped starting sides in previous years, it’ll be opposite. I have no idea whether Stanford or Iowa State will be the “home” team for the first match.
