This will be the first-meeting ever between South Dakota and Minnesota, though the teams have played several times
during the spring offseason schedules that typically follow a normal fall season.

This South Dakota team is really solid. Their RPI of 70 is significantly higher than the bottom tier of the B1G. I would expect them to get in the 19-22 range per set and could see them take a set if the Gophers stumble. I have the highest probability as Gophers in 4.

Minnesota needs to put service pressure on USD, that's their biggest weakest.
If Juhnke is struggling to pass, it takes Harms and Slaughter out of the attack.
Minnesota should be fine, but USD does have weapons if they're flowing.

The University of Minnesota is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all fans attending events on our campus. Current guidelines from the Minnesota Department of Health do not limit venue capacity or require physical distancing between individuals. All individuals - regardless of vaccination status - are required to wear a mask or face covering that fully covers both the mouth and nose while indoors. The lone exception is when an individual is actively eating or drinking and sitting in their seats. Our staff is working closely with government & campus officials to monitor guidelines and will adjust policies as needed.

Minnesota should be fine, but USD does have weapons if they're flowing. This does sum things up pretty succinctly, although I don't know much about Minnesota. If the Yotes can stay in system, they have a shot at taking a set. Bad passing will make this ugly and short in a hurry. This is a veteran and confident group, though, with nothing to lose. Who knows? I'll guess it will be a 4-set Minnesota win. Also: the last time a Summit team won a set in the NCAAs was in 2012 (9 years ago) when Fort Wayne took #18 Iowa State to five sets. |

I’ve got 2 All-Session tickets for sale for the Minneapolis sub regional: Section 110, Row 13, Seats 9 & 10. These are bench seats, on the “up ref” side of the court. If I could figure out how to upload a screenshot of the venue seating, I would be able to show you where they were!
Anyway, they are $20 each (which is a savings of $5 per ticket, plus handling fees). They are digital tickets, so I would need a cell phone number to send them to. Venmo or Zelle payment accepted. Send message is interested.
**OK, I just looked on StubHub and tickets in this section (and 3 rows further back) are listed for $70 each, so clearly I am not a financial genius! But I would rather the seats be filled and not try to gouge someone in the process! (And I hope whoever listed those tickets for $70 each can’t sell them!😊)
