props to mississippi st - this was a great turnaround season for them. they made this 1st round match-up a kind of battle that you would expect from the 3 and 4 "seeds" in a sub-regional.
this is a satisfying post-season win for the wahine, after the up-and-down/rebuilding season. and it's not over yet! let's put a scare in the huskies ... and perhaps earn another trip to the sweet 16 for coach rob ... !!

I really hope Robin extends an invite to MSST to Hawaii next season for a pre-season tournament. These Mississippi state girls deserve it. Add it to the list of firsts for them.

I know Hawaii continues on but also excited for next year. So many underclassmen on the floor and waiting in the wings. Only 1 senior graduates next year (?) so we are in good hands.
