Also the potential for a nice RPI boost if MSU can remain consistent in the SEC. I think a lot of teams are going to want to schedule Miss St. in the pre-season now. They could go from 22-5 to 14-14 real quick. They will be a very interesting team to watch in 2022. Also, who knows what happens with the portal. Maybe they're a more attractive destination now. Probably would have helped if they won this match, but, getting 2nd in the SEC certainly turned some heads. Very true

Every Ah Mow hater needs get the GTFO! Wahine just took down SEC’s number 2. Brahhhhhh!! LETSSS GOOOOOOOO!! Also, some Hawaii fans should be ashamed for all the crap talk they gave Ah Mow and the girls following the UCSB loss. You are more than welcome to eat your words!! On to round two!! I’m with you. If any of you so called Hawaii fans ever doubted our team, get off the bandwagon! LOL @ BIK.....

Watching the UW match. I think everyone knows UW isn't as athletic but they have a good setter and outside hitters that CAN put the ball away. Also the trademark serve and block to boot. It's going to take a 1000% effort to take them down.

So much for the RPI and top 25 rankings. All shibai. Mississippi State and all the ranked teams earned that. They didn’t go down without a fight. Let’s not dismiss the accomplishments that other teams earned in order to lift up a Hawaii team that came out on top for one night. Whatever, our RPI is 57. Think about it. The RPI is biased towards Power 5 conferences. It's not an accurate measure of how good a team is. We had three freshmen, two sophomores, and a junior who never played at all or as much as they did this season as prior seasons combined. Hawai'i will be as good or even better next season.

LOL, I have no problem with balanced and constructive criticism. I’m all for it and I’ve shared my concern all through out the season. That is not what I’m talking about.
What I’m talking about are the posters here that have talked down and been demeaning of the coaching staff and players all season and especially after the loss to UCSB. Some statements have been borderline personal attacks.

People get down on Riley Wagoner, mainly due to her hitting percentage, but the reason Robyn does not take her out, is that she is the only other Outside Hitter, beside BVS, who has the all around game. Which is what Robyn is looking for in her Outside Hitters. None of the other Outside Hitters on the bench can say that. Mia Johnson is a very good attacker, an adequate blocker, but when it come to digging and receiving, she has a ways to go yet. Martyna Leoniak, has 2/3 of it, but where she is lacking is at blocking, she need to get stronger to become a force there. Even when it comes to Braelyn Akana, she is in the same boat as Mia Johnson. Until these players show Robyn they have that all around game, Robyn will stick with Riley Wagoner. Cause Riley Wagoner contributes in so many ways besides just attacking.

The one good thing going forward, all the Wahine players, with the exception of Demirtas, has started, and played minutes this season. They all know what they have to work on to win a starting spot next season. There will be positions open to the ones that work hard in the off season and make the strides to win those open starting spots. It will be interesting to see which players actually take it to heart and do work hard to improve their game, in this coming off season.

Hawai'i won because the team won. Amber is a sparkplug. Sky is the mom. And BVS is the glue.
