With CC I'd say Gophers in 4, without her, maybe Stanford in 5.
Gophers will need to find a way to slow down Baird and Kipp, especially Baird.
Hoping Kilkelly can up her game a few notches tonight and Miyabe's knee doesn't give her trouble.

I've been thinking all year that this Stanford team would get it together pretty soon- time's a wasting. I'm not sure the roster has solutions for the floor defense, though.

Don't want to see the seniors' season end tonight. Miyabe has been such a joy to watch this season and Samedy is, well, Samedy. Hope they can find a way to pull one out against a solid Stanford team.

No offense, but Minnesota has 2 elite hitters?? Who’s the second one Lmaoo I mean… Wenaas has been a serviceable outside and has the chance to be elite… but I don’t think she is ‘elite’ yet.. Wenaas is elite all-around when you consider what she brings. Hitting isn't as terminal as the Stanford 2 but she's almost as valuable as a complete player.

So is it confirmed that McGraw won’t play this match? Not confirmed. But very unlikely she'll be there. I agree with other posters that if McGraw tested positive for Covid and actually has it, how odd it is that no one else on the team got it. It's possible of course, but strange. Could be other illness as well, but I doubt it. If it were simply an injury, she'd be on the bench with her team. Could've also been a bereavement situation. But again, there's been some rumblings from folks who know McGraw that she will not be available for some time. Most likely reason to me would be a positive Covid test. To be clear, however, that is speculation at this point. Still speculating, but there have some studies that the vaccinated who get COVID do not spread it very well (especially to others who are vaccinated). Not saying that's what she has (and she probably doesn't), but it wouldn't be a surprise to have everyone else available. On the other hand, if you recall, Rutgers had to forfeit two games because of non-COVID illness. So other illnesses are going around again. Or, she could just be hurt, like concussion or some other injury.
