I think a shorter set favors UCF, but who knows at this point.

These stats are disgusting. This is Melville's worst hitting % on the year. Though, she only hit very slightly better against Penn State. but they got swept (at home!) |

In the last 9 years, has there been a setter at UCLA who has not regressed? Or transferred out? For Sponcil being a pretty big name outside of her college career you guys sure forget quickly I know she transferred in but she played and very well. THIS is how poorly UCLA manages the setter position... Sponcil came in to play Beach for Steino, and also play OH2 for UCLA indoor, after being OH at Loyola Marymount 3rd team AA. She learned under Tom Black at LMU. She won the UCLA starting setter job in all of about half a day, and has been the best setter UCLA had for the past 10 years for the one year she had Indoor eligibility. |
