I was hoping to get a good look at Melville. Alas. Also, it seems pretty clear that UCF didn't get any respect from the polls. They dispatched Pepperdine easily, and Pepp spent all season in the polls. Let alone the trouble they have given UCLA tonight. the problem with ranking UCF was all of their pre-conference losses and then once they started winning, they played in a deadzone due to how far down the AAC was this year People were still ranking Western Kentucky playing nobody. And Pepperdine and San Diego. Was the WCC that strong this year? I certainly didn't think so, and Pepperdine/San Diego took worse losses than UCF did.

Ugh. I feel horrible for Melville. The girl takes a zillion swings a match, has had double-digit kills in every single match for UCF this entire season. Covers a ton of court and actually plays great defense unlike her teammates. She's having a tough match.. but she put up 25 kills last night and her team wouldn't be here without her. She's a hell of a player. pls leave mckenna... there are greener pastures. oregon is very green. Ewert/Melville to Eugene por favor.

What happened to the Asian setter UCLA had last two years?? Devon Chang. She's graduating. I wouldn't be surprised if she plays somewhere else for grad school. I think her sister did the same. Oh so she didn't play this season?? I wondered what happened to her

I tried to rank UCF by about week 7 once they started winning. I had issues with ranking any of the other 3 teams you mentioned especially once BYU handed both of them their asses. The stats looked really good and the couple games I watched, UCF looked good. It was just something about how they performed early season that I couldn't make the jump over.

I wondered what happened to her She had a really bad injury midway of last season and I think she's still recovering, which is why she hasn't been dressed this fall. She's still on the bench though.

Melville still led UCF in kills (14), digs (14) and was 2nd in blocks (6).
Unfortunately, it was Mac May's 25 kills , McCall's 20 digs and Fleck's 29 digs that sealed the deal.

I wondered what happened to her No, she tore her ACL and was probably still not 100%. She could've also made the decision to redshirt so she could possibly get more years wherever she ends up.

Shoutout to Ndiaye for coming in today with something to prove. Not her hottest offensive night, but 10 blocks!
She made a huge difference on that right side.

Maybe she'll do like Peyton did and go play in the B1G for her last year(s) 😁

This is what I've always wanted to see from her. If she isn't bringing it offensively, hopefully she at least puts up a decent block. UCLA will need a similar performance from her next weekend.

At least they tried to give style points.

She just needs to shut down Orzol and Loberg and things get quite a bit easier for the Bruins.
