Big question is regarding Lund. Vasquez Gomez can fill in nicely first round....but how will Pitt do with PSU assuming both advance if Lund is not available.... her passing is essential.

Pitt can maybe win without Lund but it will be difficult. Hopefully Fairbanks/Vasquez Gomez/etc can continue to step up like they have the last few games.

Lund played backrow in one set and warmed up hitting against UMBC… maybe she will be back for this game?
Regardless can’t wait to see the Hord and Gray matchup!

Lund played backrow in one set and warmed up hitting against UMBC… maybe she will be back for this game? Regardless can’t wait to see the Hord and Gray matchup! I thought I seen her name in the Box score after that game. Thank goodness, it's a very good sign and possibility she'll be playing! |

I'm a bit surprised how many picked Penn State. Even if Lund doesn't play, I still think Pitt should be able to win at home.

The inconsistency works both ways. Sometimes Penn State is really good. Pritchard, Rollins, Parker, Hord, Blossom, and Hampton, are a pretty good nucleus.

I think Pitt has the edge in floor defense/rallying so I will give the edge to them. PSU will definitely be tough and will not go down lightly at all.
