This would be a great football matchup if it was 1994

If both could lose, that would be great

Sitting a few rows behind the Husker bench this game I have a few observations from last nights game: Team chemistry seems to be incredible - so fun to watch the bench. Reyes was not thrilled with Hames going after first contact free balls. Cook also not thrilled with some of Hames setting choices (the 1 timeout we had he gave her an earful).. How does Cook stay calm throughout a match? Apparently fidgeting with the challenge card the whole game. I don’t know if anyone else saw but when Callie came out in the 3rd set she went to give a high-five to Orr and completely missed and hit her straight in the face haha. Lastly, sitting with the family and friends of the players is a great reminder that at the end of the day these student athletes are human and life is bigger than Husker Volleyball (I know absolutely shocking)! With that being said I will be depressed for a week if we don’t make it to the final four Go Big Red!

The way Nebraska has played this season this could be a trap match if they do not show up ready to compete

The way Nebraska has played this season this could be a trap match if they do not show up ready to compete Agreed, I see it playing 1 of 3 ways. A dominant sweep for the Huskers, a mostly dominant game with an FSU set win where we struggle to score 15 points or a 5 set thriller where FSU wins the first set and keeps the momentum. Obviously hoping for option A!

I mean... The whole husker squad gets featured and FSU gets 4. Sounds fair or unbiased. 🤣🤣

Ready to leave the bank. Have mortgaged the farm. What are the odds on this match? Florida State has overachieved this season (imo) just by being here. I didn't think they were going to be an NCAA Tournament team without Knuth. They kind of remind me of Miami-FL, don't have any bad losses, but haven't done anything really impressive. They did beat Florida of course, and the ND loss at home is kinda ugly though. I just don't see how they have a high ceiling at all and I don't know how they have a chance to win this match. Clothier is great though. I just don't see how they have the firepower to take down Nebraska on the road. Even if Nebraska is off, I think it has to be a really poor day for the Huskers. But, Chris Poole has been known to pull off some shockers in the NCAA Tournament before. After that miraculous second round comeback at Florida that one year, I can't count them out of any match.

They are pretty consistent they just don’t have a very high ceiling
