So, a comment from Nicklin in this presser has me thinking.
She mentioned part of the difficulty of FSU’s serve was the path of the ball over FSU’s frontcourt players. Does anyone on this forum recall an instance of screening that was actually called in a college game? I’ve never seen it in my whole life.

In over 35 years of volleyball I’ve seen it called once, ever.

Is that John Baylor and Lauren Cook-West? They’re fun. I think that's right. The man was super fun high energy in a sort of old school way and the woman was equally good in her own way. Top notch, probably not easy to call a volleyball match for the radio! I was impressed. Yep, that sounds like them. JB is very creative, for example, "Seeing more blocks than at a preschool!" and as a former Husker setter, Lauren is very knowledgeable--and well connected to the program (by way of her dad and her time as a player).
I enjoy them a lot, and would listen to them all the time if I could figure out a straightforward way to sync their broadcast with streaming video.

I'd need to go back and really look, but it seems like Ally was finally getting a bit of a higher set last night? We like to see that, use that frame! lol She was really clicking last night for sure, so one has to think the sets were good for her.

Hopefully, we will see a lot more of them!

I've definitely seen it complained about and the ref made the serving team resituate. No penalty or anything though. I'll try to pry my memory to think of a specific match
