Also, sooner or later, Hawaii is going to win a tournament match in Seattle. They've already done that. Duke, Mississippi State. Good point. I meant to suggest a "second round tournament match."

If I had to guess who picked the Wahine to sweep UW I would say it was Wahine fan, Steve, Laura, Yvonne, or one of those people. 🙄 LMAO, if they sweep, that will be the talk of the tourney up until that point, granted no other major upsets happen. But if Hawai'i's passing and defense is there, and they are getting production from each player, they just may have a chance against Udub. I feel like they can pull the upset here.

It was good to see Brooke Van Sickle back in Hec Ed again. I remember her from when she played for the Ducks. I don't know if things have changed for her over the years, but the Van Sickle I remember from Oregon could take over a match and look like supergirl, but could also be completely ineffective. It was kind of hard to predict what you would get with her. Anyway, this looks like it should be an entertaining match, with teams that have rather different looks and styles of play. Brooke has been super consistent this year. She was more inconsistent in 2019, but playing a season of beach last year seemed to really help her overall game. I do feel like she plays better in bigger games so we'll see. That Minnesota tourney match, she came in clutch off the bench and got timely kills to end the 2nd set (I believe) that went on forever

Those can be some of the most dangerous teams. Especially this time of year. Play by play caller on the ESPN+ stream said something about Hawaii always looking like they were in system against Miss. State, and I had to laugh. Yes, it was only Kate’s ability to fire off sets running all over the floor that gave Hawaii hitters their chance. Also, Hawaii's block was able to slow down MSST even when they were in system, which made it look like Hawaii was in system more than it was.

The question for the Wahine is who will start at the opposite: Tiff or Leo?

The question for the Wahine is who will start at the opposite: Tiff or Leo? The big question among Husky fans is who should start at OH (besides Hoffman) -- Bush, Crenshaw, or Endsley?

To keep going, it could be the SEC champion, then WCC, then either BIG10 or ACC. Lots of champions out here from here on. The best at-large left is Pitt, followed by Baylor and Purdue. (perhaps looking a bit too far ahead)

Hawaii will have to play really smart volleyball to win tonight. They will not overpower UDUB. Just gotta play really smart. I believe. Go Bows!

The only pressure the Bows have is the pressure they put on themselves, playing for themselves and their coaches. Nobody is expecting them to win so they can just go out and play and try to execute the game plan as best they can. I’m looking forward to the match.
