And the serve looked out to me Perfect storm.

I’ve been critical of Taylen, but she was really good tonight. Hit .333. Livingston was great, too. Phew. If only heather were like her freshman year. I really think that Whitney struggles to set her consistently sometimes.

So sad to see Drews end her career that way BYU was just better in all the long rallies and lots of missed opportunities by Utah Beth should have also used that challenge early on could have made all the difference and you don’t get to take it with you. Nice win by BYU. In a match Purdue that’s a toss up in my opinion Purdue has looked shaky recently since the loss to Nebraska. That match may get interesting quickly. I picked BYU to go to the FF in my PTW bracket. That ain’t happening. The passing is just not good enough. I do expect koerber to hopefully play better. Her cramps are awful.

I'm not ready for Dani Drews to end yet. At least one more weekend, please. Hard pass.

Lol, I was confused because I thought you were talking about the Pac-12, but then I realized you were talking about the AAC.

I also wanted to say that I watched a lot of volleyball and I know this was a marquee match between two highly touted rival teams but the atmosphere was absolutely electric. It sounded so loud you could hear the fans through the broadcast. Very cool for the game and the state of Utah.

Smith Fieldhouse is much cozier than the huge arenas where teams like Utah play...the crowd is right there close enough to touch the servers. Also, the BYU fans are completely devoted to their teams, (at home and on the road). And honestly, what else do you do in Provo on a Saturday night?

When I was in college, Utah played at an arena that was significantly smaller than the Smith Fieldhouse called Crimson Court. It was a pretty intimidating environment (I only went there once, but it was for a BYU/Utah match). I think they moved to the Huntsman Center about a decade ago.

Drews was the best player on the court. Imagine if Utah still had Kenzie? Whew.

If not for Purdue’s reverse sweep and PSU inability to keep a lead, next weekend could have been in Provo!!

A classic example of what Freud called the narcissism of small differences: "the deepest hatreds are manifested between people who—to most outward appearances—exhibit very few significant distinctions."
