I feel like the idea of people being spoiled by seeing match thread titles on VT is more questionable now than ever. With all of the first and second round matchups on ESPN+ or LHN - if someone wants to not be spoiled, the clear right thing to do is go straight to the ESPN website or app and watch the replay(s) of whichever match(es) you don't want to be spoiled about. It's not like in previous years, where matches/streams were all over the place and it could be difficult to find replay links for all of the matches without coming on VT. As others have stated multiple times, if one doesn't want to be spoiled, one should not come on VT (or even use any other social media for that matter...) Also, of the 16 subregionals, when the bracket was announced, the BYU subregional was top 25% for me in terms of being able to guess which two teams would still be playing in the second round. Pitt, Florida, and Baylor were easier guesses, but all the others were harder. So baytree - as far as I'm concerned you can change the thread title whenever you want. baytree , would you mind including in the title of thread to BYU vs Utah? Might be easier to find? I’d have rather been seeded 16th and had Florida’s opponents than face Utah, AGAIN. If we can run the middle, I feel good. If we have to rely on our outsides, we’re in trouble. Livingston looked great last night, however. Might come down to whichever transfer has the best night-Koerber or Robinson. Some ppl didn't want the names of the teams playing in the title in case they hadn't found out who won the first round yet. That's why I didn't put them in the title. Oh, I didn’t even think about that. My bad. Thanks for all your efforts! It is much appreciated! |

Crazy the season is ending so soon I remember watching the first match and Drews was just out of sorts, she played horribly. I don’t expect the same from her. BYU in the first meeting would establish a big lead and then Utah would claw back into the match. To me this is a toss up the only result that would surprise me would be a sweep either way. My 4 concerns with BYU 1) Whitney block 2) Taylen (we see that’s she been playing bad lately and is way way way too timid) she better have a short leash 3) defense 4) and of course serve receive |

I’d have rather been seeded 16th and had Florida’s opponents than face Utah, AGAIN. So tired of this matchup. They had all the reasons to seed Utah (except geography), who had double the Top 25 wins that Miami-FL and Florida had. Utah went on the road in the non-conference and beat a seeded Big 10 team and the committee has been very friendly to the Big 10 lately. Sigh. It’s very very annoying for both teams to always have to play each other in the second round |

There isn't a team in the NCAA who doesn't think that their serve receive is good enough. Oregon was one of the best receive teams in the country, and they are out. Cougars have beaten teams with hard serves. Utah will not serve as well as they did the first time.

I think BYU is a little more technically refined when it comes to skills and consistency, but Utah is more battle tested. Will definitely be interesting to watch tonight!

Already a battle in this matchup. Lead changes a couple of times, but after a strong serving run by Kylie, Utes up 9-7.
