I liked the walk from the Intowner to the Field House. It takes you through some interesting neighborhoods. Also, there is some famous Frank Lloyd Wright architecture to see if you plan it well. Thanks for the suggestion—we’ll be sure to check it out. My husband is an architect, so it’s definitely in his wheelhouse! There's also a church, First Unitarian Society; it's the other direction, but not at all far from your hotel. And the Monona Terrace convention center, "on the isthmus" in the center of town, two blocks from the Capitol. And then his "summer home" for a time, Taliesin, is in Spring Green, not far at all from Madison, for you day off on Friday.

Maybe the Bruins take a game, but UW wins this match easily.

There's going to be an agent (or more lol) at this match. I need one of you to make sure Fleck goes pro, not to Texas... you know, for the greater good

!!!!!! If you plan to drive to the Field House, check out the OP for updated parking info. Parking is limited because we’re in the middle of the business day. I always park on side streets (I think south of Regent and East of Monroe, the presidential streets). I know that may be more challenging now and that some blocks will be 2 hr parking but I hope if I go a little farther I can find something. I even parked around there last night because it's what I know, when I went to the Kohl center. Probably walking longing than I needed to but it wasn't that bad.

But Thursday is also "no parking 8 AM til noon on Thursdays" for trash pickup.

I would think the walk from the Inntowner will be about 25-30 minutes to the FieldHouse. It's a nice walk with all the holiday lights and decorations. Near the top of the University Heights you will find the FLWright Airplane House and a couple blocks away is the Bradley House by Louis Sullivan, plus the Chancellor's Frank Riley house....and lots more. Enjoy the walk. The way home it might be a little colder but still a good adventure.

Apologies if this has already been discussed but anyone know Luper’s status/availability today?

Thought I saw something about watching these matches if you just have espn+. Anybody know? If not, I'll be happy to listen to the radio broadcast.

I just attempted to access the (ESPNU) Louisville match on the WatchESPN website and it asked for my cable provider. But I'm not 100% on whether that means you need a cable provider to watch them. Just a data point.
