Yes they have but 2 kills each, while 100% improvement, doesn't compare to the van der Mark's offense. However, Minnesota has been doing a lot of little things right, coverage, tooling, out of system settting ... We shall see. Has Van der mark been that big for Baylor this season? Or are we speaking within the context of her vs the Minnesota middles? This may be an unpopular opinion but I can’t help but giggle when watching Van der mark play. She is very awkward but maybe that’s to her advantage e.g. she doesn’t even know what she wants to do with the ball therefore how is her opponent supposed to read her? Van der Mark had her way with Minnesota in their matchup earlier this season. Looking at the stat sheet, she was 14 3 27 and had 7 blocks in that game.

Excited to have y’all at the Field House! Who’s coming? Haven't decided yet. The seats are still hard and wooden, and surprisingly, it is still warm. The food lines are long, but the bathrooms have been upgraded.

Baylor has a lot of depth in the middle and switches up players based on match ups. Parise really got added to the mix in conference play. All 4 middles have started in conference play but it’s not unlikely that they will be subbed out for one another depending on what’s needed in the matchup.

The last time I watched Baylor was when they beat Texas. I’m excited for this match up

If I’m reading the Badger ticket website correctly, since it says that all of the “Prime Reserved & Reserved all-session ticket packages” are sold out, does that mean that every remaining ticket is just general admission, and it’s first come, first served?

Generally, yes. Two possibilities that might happen and show up at the Badger web site (as opposed to Stubhub, etc) One of the schools returns tickets to UW and they put them up for sale through the main web site, or a UW "reserve" buyer looks to sell them back to the school (through the school sponsored ticket exchange) and they then show up on the main site. Once ticket sales open up tomorrow, there will probably be an option to "choose tickets by location", and I'm pretty sure I saw tickets in some of the reserved sections when UW was hosting second weekend two years ago. But they may not be there right away Monday morning. Rather, they might show up later Monday or into Tuesday, etc. And possibly disappear as fast as they appear. And I can understand why that sort of uncertainty wouldn't "work" for people coming from long distance. But again, I remember seeing such things two years ago.

Thanks, robtearle -- that info is very helpful. I guess we'll have to see what shows up this morning, and play it by ear. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain.

Hello again, helpful Wisconsin fans! I have a couple of additional questions that you may be able to help with: 1) How early do the doors open prior to the scheduled start times of a match? I know that the schedule may be different for a Regional than for a normal WI home match, but past practices may be instructive.😊 2) What is the masking requirement in the Field House?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Well, I just tried to get tickets (right at 9am, when the webpage opened), was able to put 2 general admission tickets into my cart (which was the only available choice) and then got this message: "We are sorry. The number of seats you requested could not be found in any price level at this time. You may request a different number of tickets and try again. If you want to try again, click here." I tried a few more times and got the same result. Maybe the system was overloaded and that was how it responded--who knows?

The UW ticket system, sadly, does not have the best track record, particularly at the 'start' of a given buying period, etc. If it were truly a full sellout, there wouldn't be any option at all. But you could try buying a single ticket. to see what happens. If it goes through, then buy a second single ticket; they're all 'general admission', so the only difference would be you'd end up paying two 'processing fees', etc. As for the other questions: masking required at all times and in all locations, other than when you are eating or drinking. Doors open roughly one hour before scheduled first-serve. ------------ Adding, you could try calling the ticket office and putting in an order over the phone. (Don't know how easy it would be to get through right now...)

Thanks again, robtearle! Glad to hear the masking status. And I tried the "one ticket at a time" gambit, but still no luck. Someone on the MN thread has been in the "wait while we find your tickets" limbo for over 15 minutes (when it says it could take up to three minutes), so the system seems to be having issues. I guess we'll have to see what shows up later in the day (or week).

For last weekend, the email with my tickets that was promised to arrive "no later than the evening of Nov 29th" hit my inbox about 7 AM on the 30th. I hope to get the email with this weekend's tickets sometime today, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't happen til tomorrow. They don't have the greatest track record. ... and just now, I got an email telling me my tickets for this weekend will arrive "no later than the evening on December 6th". LOL. Fool me once, shame on you...

Now to find a hotel and hope that we have reason to stay in Madison beyond Thursday!🤞🏻 Thanks for your help, robtearle !
