1. Can Nebraska beat Illinois for a third time in a season? 2. Will Batenhorst be continually blocked or we she be replaced by Sun? 3. Will Hames' sets be off? 5. Will Hames ignore middle? If Nebraska can get these managed, we definitely can beat the Illini and Texas. 1. Yes, but the Illinois v Kentucky game wondering can this Illinois team show up 2 games in a row against good competition… 2. I assume this is. 50-50 chance based on how the season has unfolded. 3. I’ll let Nebraska fans answer that, your more critical than I am but that’s expected. 4. I don’t suspect she will ignore the best part of the Nebraska offense. |

As much as I'd love for that call to have been missed, at least they got it right. was it actually a touch/did Ali admit it? i havent gone back to look in ages.. but i always thought there wasnt enough evidence of a touch I don't remember Ali weighing in on it after the game but my recollection was that her left pinky or ring finger visibly bent back. Otherwise, we'd still be really salty about it three years later. Well, saltier than we are over the loss, itself. : ) |

Wasn't there bad blood between Nebraska and Texas when both schools were in the Big Twelve? Did not Nebraska resent the fact that the Big Twelve Conference always catered to Texas?

The Big12 seemingly always catered to Texas and the South division. Early in the conference they'd alternate the FB championship between Arrowhead and Alamo dome. When JerryWorld opened they permanently move the game down there. Just one of several examples. Always seemed like UTexas thought they were better than the rest of the conference and that doesn’t sit well with midwestern sensibilities. Big12 administration catered to their brand. The Longhorn network shenanigans and UT getting more money upset everyone. Etc. Low key love the Big12 admin is getting their comeuppance now. |

Has Illinois arranged to make sure they get called Florida in the live stats again? That worked pretty well for them in the last match.

VT wasn’t happy about it, but I thought it was a touch. Then I was on the opposite side of that feeling two days later when Stanford’s service error was overturned on the challenge in the fifth. I’ll go to my grave saying that serve was out (but that judgment could be fueled by how badly I wanted to see Foecke and Maloney get that ring). Man. That was such an insane tournament for Nebraska. |
