They're one timezone away from Purdue, have been in PA for two days, and have had 5 days to adjust their sleep schedule. Purdue is in the eastern time zone. But I agree, the early thing isn't a valid excuse. (Although Purdue legitimately does have a performance-enhancing advantage that they can drink caffeine) There's a few non-LDS students on BYU's squad. Though I'm not sure if the caffeine thing is a part of the student honor code or not. |

The 9am start time is no excuse. This is a Sweet 16 match!!!!! One of my favorite regional Finals was played at like 10am west-coast time for Stanford/USC in Dayton, OH. It was a very high-level match. |

And... muting the announcers definitely helped the enjoyment of the game! But you lose court and crowd sounds - surprised play by play lacks knowledge - Missy at least knows some things - could be worse (Sam Gore) 😎 |
