Lexi was bright as the “sun” on match point.
Texas eating that humble pie (again).
It’s not TX I dislike, it’s that cocky, forever resting bitch face, no coaching skills, Jerrit Elliot.
How can you not win with all these athletes!! How!!?!

Congrats Texas on a successful year. After getting a good picture from last night, i see a team with a very athletic, formidable front line. It can wreak havoc on offense and the block. But the backcourt misses O’Brien. She was very, very good to your great final against Kentucky last spring. A great final match by both teams. My question, to not belabor, is the 2022 additions at especially libero and middle blocker going to factor strongly next fall? The most immediate help needed is a player like Fleck, if she came to Texas would be a jolt of good fortune. But Wisconsin is in need and a player here too. Who is the leader and is this going to end soon or play out till May or so? A great match and rivalry in volleyball that the nation seems to appreciate more than the programs. Lol.

Elliot is nowhere near on the hot seat. He's consistently Top 10. It would be a way worse decision that Nebraska deciding to axe Solich because he was always 9-4.
If you follow Texas Athletics, they have way bigger problems than worry that one of their most successful programs isn't winning enough national titles.

Never ceases to amaze that many think Texas excels in recruiting when it recruits well for only half a team - hitters only. Recruiting class rankings are seriously flawed. I mean, Shook and Cabello were highly touted recruits. Swindle obviously is a huge one. Just because they didn’t pan out doesn’t mean Jerritt doesn’t recruit well for that position That's EXACTLY what that means.

IF Eggleston played for my team, I'd probably defend her throws -- they aren't horrific. That said, those thangs should be called early and often.

The 5’7 setter no one had the time of day for except Elliot, that out set Blossom, Hames, Hilley last year. Good chance Cabello will have a good career somewhere. Setting is not the reason for Texas’s lack of NC. 1/3 of the roster DS/Libero sure.

Is he not the most or close to the most successful coach on campus? Any talk of him being on hot seat is a call for drug testing.

I think our AD has football and angry football boosters to worry about. Not JE.
