Itz obvious that Wucherer is getting alot of widespread fanfare right now as a recruit. Perhaps, rightfully so. But what is the starting pin projections look like for the ‘22 Gophers?
To me, the only lock is Wenas at OH1. I think Landfair has to come up big this year too. Then what?

Wenaas is OH2. The battle is for OH1.

I believe it will be Wucherer and Wenaas on the left and Landfair on the right.

Wucherer is going to get DS'ed before Landfair does.

Wucherer is going to get DS'ed before Landfair does. If Landfair needs to be DS’ed too, I would hope we see Glenn playing that role and she can hit from the back row.

wasnt Landfair playing six rotations before she got injured? I thought she was against Texas and Kilkelly was only coming in at times if necessary. I imagine Landfair will play six rotations with Wenaas and Wucherer will be front row only, maybe serving and playing one rotation in back row.
I will be quoting this in triumph after Minnesota's first match in 2022, manifesting now.

Hugh was hired at the beginning of 2011, but with the proviso that he'd remain the US national team coach until after the 2012 Olympics. How much involvement he had in the recruitment during this interim, I don't know and don't think anyone not an insider would know. I assume he was at least consulted, but he already had a full-time commitment to the national team that presumably took priority in commanding his time and attention. Almost certainly, he wasn't beating the bushes, going to qualifiers, looking at tons of video, and the like. On the other hand, the mere fact that he was announced and coming to an arena near you surely mattered to recruits. I'd find it hard to believe that the Tapps would have committed if they didn't think that they'd get a renowned coach like Hugh. I believe the class of 2014 would have been the first with Hugh in Minneapolis, evaluating HS juniors, and having the conventional amount of coach-involvement in recruiting.
